Parents in BISD recently had the opportunity to learn more about helping their children succeed in school and at home. The Spring Book Study, presented by BISD Title Programs, held on March 21, 2014 at the BISD Administration Annex was well attendended and provided participants an opportunity to dig deep and learn key lessons on keeping their kids successful. This semester’s book was based on the book Parents Need Help Too by Dr. Tyrone Tanner.
“We were very excited to not only offer this excellent opportunity to the parents of BISD, but to also have author Dr. Tyrone Tanner with us as well,” said Michelle Kibbles, Parent Involvement Coordinator. “Dr. Tanner is very knowledgeable and offered the parents useful information to help empower them to develop healthy and successful students.”
