On June 7th the Montagne Center will host hundreds of proud parents, grandparents, friends, and many others as they gather to celebrate the tremendous accomplishments of the class of 2014. This year, BISD will see 1,103 young men and women walk across the stage to receive their diplomas.
“These students have faced challenges, seen great successes, and have been thoroughly prepared for the road ahead” said Superintendent Dr. Timothy Chargois. “I am very confident that the young men and women who will be graduating from BISD will see their hard work pay off in the future no matter what they choose to do.”
The class of 2014 has a total of 381 students graduating with honors and has so far been awarded over $15 million in scholarships and awards.
“Our goal for each and every student that graduates from BISD is that they move on into the world as successful men and women whether it be higher education, skilled labor, or the military” said Chargois. “The hardworking BISD teachers, administrators and faculty have made sure that we have set them on a path of success and now it’s time to see the fruits of this hard work.”
