Three West Brook students have qualified to compete in the UIL Student Congress state meet in January. These students have been working very hard and will represent West Brook High School well. The results from the meeting were as follows:
6A- Qualifiers
1st place – Kayla Richard (11)
Kayla also placed first place in the preliminary round and first place over all in the competition.
2nd place- Ashley Brandimarte (11)
3rd place- Sam Lin (12)
Also competing and placing in the district meet:
4th place- Tommy Tan
5th place- Joshua Yu Tiamco
Justin Essex was an alternate at the district meet. Tommy Tan and Joshua Yu Tiamco will be state alternates.
