Dishman Elementary held its annual “Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader” on December 2, 2014 in which students became the teachers and the parents were the students. Students demonstrated science, math, and technology skills and quizzed parents in various areas of science.
Parents were led by students through station rotations in the science and math classrooms, computer lab, science lab, and science project hall. The program was an eye- opening role reversal, confidence builder, and an excellent opportunity to extend learning.
