BISD Bands Receive High Honors

Ozen received a total of  29 = 1^st Division medals plus two previous twirling medals for a total of 31 

State Qualifiers:  Herbert Briggs, Seve Chavis, Kiana Charles, Diana Escuadra, Faith Jackson, Janea Garrett, Nathan Gilbert, Victoria Gilbo, Chelsea Greer,  Stefhanie Herreta, Andrew Mc Bride, Danny Martinez,  Marcus Quillian,  Jacorian Randle, Cindy Rodrigue, Brandon Toson,  KaNesha Volrie, Ryan White; Twirlers: Kennedy Montaque, Taylor Larzo, Diana Escuadra, Chelsea Greer, and Marcus Quillian

1^st Division Honors: Rachelle Brooks and  Nashon Morris

2^nd Division HonorS: Anthony Curtis, Jorge Guardarrama, Jose Jasso, Kalen Jones, and Natasha Walker 

Jazz Band received a 2^nd Division Honor

West Brook brought home 52 Gold Medals and all ratings were either Superior or Excellent.

 The new Bruin Jazz Band earned a first division.

8 of the soloists and all of the small ensemble members also qualified to compete at the UIL Texas State Solo/Ensemble Contest to be held at UT-Austin in May.
