Parents in BISD will soon have the opportunity to learn more about helping their children succeed in school and at home. The Spring Book Study, presented by BISD Title Programs, will be launching the book study on March 21, 2014 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the BISD Administration Annex located at 4315 Concord Road. This semester’s book is Parents Need Help Too by Dr. Tyrone Tanner, Ed.D.
“We are excited to not only offer this excellent opportunity to the parents of BISD, but to also have author Dr. Tyrone Tanner with us as well,” said Michelle Kibbles, Parent Involvement Coordinator. “Dr. Tanner is very knowledgeable and will offer the parents useful information to help empower them to develop healthy and successful students.”
This is the second book study of the year, with a similar study recently wrapping up in December.
