West Brook film students competed in this year’s University Interscholastic League (UIL) Young Film Makers Competition, in which over 800 films were submitted. The West Brook team has advanced to the State semi-finals and has one of 18 films still in the competition. The UIL State Office will announce the top six teams at a later date. If successful, the students will travel to Austin for a viewing of their film on the big screen at the Paramount Theater. Team members include Erin Williams, Sydney McKinley, Noah Gates, Danny Tadmore and Stephen Morgan- Sponsor/Advisor.
